Mapping of genes involved in the regulation of acid phosphatases in the Peterhoff genetic lines of the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae

Mapping of genes involved in the regulation of acid phosphatases in the Peterhoff genetic lines of the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae

Soviet genetics 27(4): 449-453

ISSN/ISBN: 0038-5409

The localizations of the genes ACP5, acp83, and ACP82 were determined in yeasts. The ACP5 and acp83 genes were linked, and were located in chromosome VI, and the ACP82 gene was located in chromosome XVI. The phenotypic effects of mutations in these genes led to the proposal that the ACP5-acp83 genes are homologous to PHO4-pho82, and the ACP82 gene is homologous to PHO85 of the sake yeast lines.
