Planning: Fighting the firefighter' syndrome

Time management skills are discussed. If proper planning isn't done priority problems or situations are not properly handled. To accomplish this divide a job into functions (e.g., personnel, operations, development, and financial). Then allocate a part of each day to work in these areas to accomplish given objectives. A time use inventory and time planning quiz are included. (kbc)
