The essential oils obtained by hydrodistillation of the stem, leaf and flower Salvia leriifolia were analysed by GC and GC-MS. Thirty-four compounds representing 92.4% of the stem oil of Salvia leriifolia were identified, where beta -pinene (19.0%), germacrene D (11.0%) and delta -cadinene (10.5%) were the major components.
