Efficacy of plant products and new insecticides against diamondback moth, Plutella xylostella (L.) (Yponomeutidae: Lepidoptera) on cabbage

In a field trial, the bio-efficacy of four commercial neem formulations viz., Soluneeem (0.15%), Econeem plus (0.3%), Vijayneem (0.3%), Neemark (0.6%), two plant extracts viz., leaf extracts of Vitex negundo and rhizome extracts of Acorns calamus (both at 10%), two new insecticide molecules viz., indoxacarb (0.0075%) and fipronil (0.01%) and a standard check, neem seed kernel extracts (NSKE 4%) were evaluated for their efficacy against diamondback moth (DBM), Plutella xylostella L on Cabbage.
