El Nino/Southern Oscillation (ENSO) has been linked to climate anomalies around the world. This study investigates the relationship between ENSO events and rainfall and temperature in Iran. Six sites with contrasting climates were selected and statistical analyses were performed to determine the impact of ENSO on winter, spring, summer and autumn precipitation and temperature.
