A study of the correlation between the number of still-born pigs and litter size

A study of the correlation between the number of still-born pigs and litter size

Sborn. csl. Akad.Zemed 10: 222-230

THE data were obtained on 1058 litters of the German Large White pig, with a total number of 9402 pigs. The total number of still-births was 657, i.e. 6.99%, and they occurred in 285 litters (i.e. 26.93%). The correlation is not linear but curvilinear.
