Ascochyta-produced diseases in peas. Preliminary study of the susceptibility of field and garden peas

Ascochyta-produced diseases in peas. Preliminary study of the susceptibility of field and garden peas

Tijdschr. PlZiekt, 46: 57-82

Experiments were conducted from 1932 to 1936 at Wageningen, the material including six varieties of field peas. It is found that Pisum sativum is attacked by Ascochyta pisi Lib, , A. pinodella Jones, and A. pinodes Stone. As the perfect stage of the last-named is known, the name Mycosphaerella pinodes should be employed.
