Colorimetric determination of the preservative value of hops: standard colour values of some hybrid hops

The standard colour values of six hybrid hops raised by Professor Salmon at Wye College were above those for ordinary English varieties. This, however, is probably not due to the influence of the species Humulus americanus in the interspecific hybrids.
