A NUMBER of ewes of different breeds were injected with prolan and PMS in summer (July), when they normally do not come on heat. The overwhelming majority of ewes ovulated within 24-72 hrs., but only 2.5% of animals showed clinical signs of oestrus as well and were willing to accept the sire.
