Cytogenetic effects of some fungicides on barley root tip meristem cells

Two fungicides, Derosal 50 WP (carbendazim-methylbenzimidazole-2yl-carbamate) and Korsikol 18 Dust (pentachloronitrobenzene , widely used in agriculture for seed protection were applied to barley seeds at concentrations of 100, 200 and 300 ppm at intervals of 6, 12 and 24 h. In the control experiments, distilled water was used instead of the fungicides.
