Differentiation of leucocytes in the counting chambee by propylene glycol-aqueous stains : a screen for the detection of major blood abnormality

A propylene glycol-aqueous stain when used as a white blood cell diluting fluid permits an accurate quantitative counting chamber differentiation of poly-morphonuclear, eosinophilic, and mononuclear leukocytes. It also possesses several technical advantages; in comparison, with the standard acetic acid diluent.
