Effect of lipoids on milk secretion and the chemical composition of milk. 2. Effect of parenteral administration of the total lipoids of egg yolk in the goat

Effect of lipoids on milk secretion and the chemical composition of milk. 2. Effect of parenteral administration of the total lipoids of egg yolk in the goat

Boll. Soc. ital. Biol. sper 10: 445-447

Parenteral injection of the total lipoids of egg yolk in small and medium doses in normally fed goats gave results agreeing with those previously obtained after injection of pure lecithin and cholesterol, i.e. there was increase of body weight, milk secretion, and percentage of total P, inorganic P, casein P, total lipoids and cholesterol. The percentage of acid soluble organic P, lecithin P and cephalin P showed no appreciable variations.
