Pollen of the F and F-24 series of white-flowered Catharanthus roseus germinated after one hour of sowing in sucrose medium and in sucrose medium supplemented with potassium sulfate (0.05, 0.10, 0.15, 0.20, 0.25 and 0.50 mg/ml).
