Effect of seed treatments on seedling emergence, severity of seedling blight, and yield of Rice

In this account of a detailed study carried out in Arkansas from 1933 to 1936, inclusive, on seedling blight of rice the authors state that the condition is a disease complex found in most rice-producing countries and that the amount of blight that develops in a crop depends on weather conditions and the microflora of the rice seed and soil.
