Abstract
The survey was continued with 28 crops grown in controlled nutrientTdeficienpy sand cultures in two series supplied with rain water and distilled water. Technique for studying trace-element deficiencies was extended by development of a method for cleaning and washing in large quantities of sand, using steam in presence of 7-10% HCI. Signs of deficiency of N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Fe and B are described, though not all of them for all the crops.
