Experiments in 1930 on Cydia molesta, Busck, on peaches, similar to those in 1929, confirm more definitely that the varying resistance of the food-plant throughout the season, which increases up to the last week in August and drops off as the fruit ripens, is the primary factor responsible for the mortality of the newly hatched larvae.
