Liver Changes Produced by Buckwheat in Rabbits, Rats, and Miee. I.

Trans. Soc. path. japon 28: 325-336

Cirrhosis of the liver was observed to be common among the inhabitants of northern Korea, where the diet consists mainly of buckwheat meal. To investigate how far this food is responsible- for the changes in the liver, a large number of experiments was undertaken in rabbits, rats, and mice.
