On the State Plant Protection Law

On the State Plant Protection Law

Zeitschr. far Pjlanzenkraitkh. und pfhonzenschuts. 38(5-6): 133-136

Referring to Prof. v. Tubeuf 's suggestions concerning the restriction of importation of plants into (Jermany with a view to preventing the sprciul of diseases, the writer thinks that undue importance has been attached to this method of dissemination. The establishment of a ' zone of protection ' to prevent the infection of nursery gardens and the like from external sources is considered to be more desirable than the adoption of far-reaching legislative measures.
