Physiology of dairy cattle. I. Reproduction and lactation

Physiology of dairy cattle. I. Reproduction and lactation

J. Dairy Res, 10: 133-152

PAPERS published between 1936-38 are dealt with under the headings of hormones, biochemical and biophysical aspects, and the general title. Although no outstanding advance is recognised, much valuable work has been done in some parts of the field. Many deal with sterility, but the majority are concerned with the hormones controlling the initiation and maintenance of lactation.
