Oliver-Gonzalez & Pratt show that the skin of patients carrying Schistosoma mansoni is highly sensitive to saline extracts of adult worms and cercariae. Positive results were obtained with 1: 200, 000 dilution but higher dilutions did not give positive results. Negative results were obtained with Taenia saginata antigen and with physiological saline.
