Spraying Scheme for the Control of Insect Pests on Citrus Trees in Florida

The greater portion of the damage caused by insects to citrus trees in Florida is due to the following species: -Aleurodes citri, the citrus whitefly, Lepidosaphes beckii, the purple scale, Eriophyes oleivorus, the rust mite, Chrysomphalus aonidum, Aleurodes nubifera, and Tetranychus sexmaculatus, the red spider. Pests of secondary importance are Aleurodes howardii, the woolly whitefly, and Tetranychus mytilaspidis, the purple mite.
