Abstract
28. The amount of bile secreted and its cholesterol and taurocholic acid contents were less in scorbutic than in normal guineapigs. The differences, which were partly due to inanition, became greater as the severity of the disease increased. Partial inanition did not result in reduction of the cholesterol and taurocholic acid contents of the bile of normal guineapigs.
