During 1933-35 and 1937, experiments similar to those already noticed were undertaken in Shanghai to determine the susceptibih'ty to infection with Filaria (Wuchereria,) bancrofti, of females of Anopheles hyrcanus, var. sinensis, Wied., reared from larvae collected locally.
