Swine Erysipelas-with Particular Reference to Serological Diagnosis

Swine Erysipelas-with Particular Reference to Serological Diagnosis

J. Amer. vet. med. Ass, 88: 310-316

III. Either the slow or the rapid agglutination test may be applied to the diagnosis of swine erysipelas, provided antigen is prepared from a smooth strain of organism. The interpretation of low agglutination titres depends upon the history of the individual and of the herd. Retests of such cases may be necessary.
