Abstract
The tissue-test technique was tested on potatoes growing on different soil types and under varied manurial treatments. The results obtained suggest that tissue-test standards fixed for K, Mg, Ca, PO4 and NO3 in potato are valid irrespective of soil types and manurial treatments. The results agree in the main with visual data. The values reflected the manurial treatment in most instances and were a useful guide to the fertilizer need of the plants.
