Abstract
Soils of this group are developed under a climate of hot, dry summers and mild, rainy winters, with the annual rainfall varying between 500 and 800 mm. They have a relatively high water table and are frequently marshy. Data are presented on the mechanical composition, C and N content, chem. composition of the HC1 extract,and the content of soluble salts and exchangeable ions.
