A note on the intermediate hosts of the trematode. Crepi' daaomum cooperi Hopkins, 1931, parasitic in speckled trout (Sahelinus fantinalii (Mitchell)) in some lakes and rivers of the Quebec Laurentide Park

Canadian Journal of Zoology 32: 6, 375-377

In the Chateau Beaumont area of the Quebec Laurentide Park, rediae and cercariae of Crepidostomum cooperi were found in the sphaeriid clams Pisidium subtruncatum, P. compression, P. adbitum, P. llijeborgi and P. nitidum in 2% to 3% of each species. The metaccrcariae were found in over 80% of the mayfly nymphs of Hexagenia recurvaia and in about 20% of Polymtarcys sp. These clams and mayflies constitute new records of inter mediate hosts for C. cooperi.
