Cytological studies of sugarcane and its relatives. X. Exclusive patro-clinous type in the F1 of sugarcane variety and Miscanthus japonicus Anders

Cytological studies of sugarcane and its relatives. X. Exclusive patro-clinous type in the F1 of sugarcane variety and Miscanthus japonicus Anders

Taiwan Tangyeh Shihyenso Yenchiu Huiyen/Rep. Taiwan Sug. Exp. Sta, 10, 1-6

Plants resembling Miscanthus and with 2n = 100-114 chromosomes were obtained from the cross 36-423 (2n = 127) x M. japonicus (2n = 38). It is concluded that the hybrids carry one genome from the mother plant and two from the pollen parent.
