Abstract
Feeding trials were made over 3 years on 3 farms in each of 4 areas of Victoria. One of these areas is dealt with in some detail. The farms were all devoted to pasture for milk production. On each farm no concentrates were given in one year, high-protein concentrates at the rate of about 1000 lb. per cow per year in another, and low-protein concentrates at the same rate in the third.
