Ensiling experiments of grass. II. An ensiling experiment with whey powder

In previous experiments the use of liquid whey for grass silage making had failed to give satisfactory results. In the experiments reported here the liquid whey was replaced by dried whey which was added to the grass at the rate of 4.02 kg. of dried whey equivalent to 2.82 kg. of lactose per 100 kg. of grass.
