Feeding tests with threshed peanut hay for dairy cattle

Feeding tests with threshed peanut hay for dairy cattle

Bull. Okla. agric. Exp. Sta, B-400: 3

Thirty-four milking cows were used in a series of three 40-day double reversal trials to determine the feeding value of threshed ground-nut hay compared with good lucerne hay. Hays were fed at 1.6-1.8 lb. per 100 lb. body weight, and concentrates were fed according to maintenance and production requirements.
