Results of effects of fertilizers as organic and inorganic manures, on the yield of paddy rice, carried out at the Rice Research Station Raipur from 1935 to 1943. Experiments conducted on light (sandy loam) and heavy (clay loam) soils, show that highest yields and largest net profits, are obtained when nitrogenous and phosphatic manures in combination, are applied in the ratio of 1: 1. Application of 20 lb. N2 as (NH4)2SO4 with 20 lb.
