Molybdenum as a plant nutrient. III. The interrelationships of molybdenum and nitrate supply in the growth and molybdenum content of cauliflower plants grown in sand culture

Molybdenum as a plant nutrient. III. The interrelationships of molybdenum and nitrate supply in the growth and molybdenum content of cauliflower plants grown in sand culture

J. hort. Sci, 29: 278-290

The plants were grown at two NO3 levels with 0.000005-I9.2 ppm Mo. The development of primary and secondary symptoms of whiptail and effects of excess Mo are described. The Mo content of plant tissues increased from <0.I to 4, 000 ppm with increasing Mo supply.
