Morphological anomalies of spermatozoa. Are bent tails pathological ?

Morphological anomalies of spermatozoa. Are bent tails pathological ?

Bull. Acad. vet. Fr, 25: 299-302

Semen obtained from 2 bucks and 14 bulls was stained and samples were examined. The percentage live spermatozoa in an ejaculate was calculated to be 53.9 of the total number of sperm, and the percentage live sperm among those with bent tails was 76.3. This difference was statistically significant. Possible causes are examined.
