On the factors governing differences in the weight of pome fruit seed (apple and pear). I. The relations between seed and fruit

Z. Pflanzenz 34: 255-306. bibl. 15

From the evaluation of his figures, which involved the use of complicated statistical/methods, the author drew the following conclusions/among others, on relations between seed and fruit in apples and pears: I. A statistically significant relationship was found to exist (a) between number of seeds per fruit and fruit weight, and (b) between seed weight and fruit weight.
