Hystrix to 34.4% in grapefruit, with higher figures in some of the hybrids, e.g. C. reticulata x Fortunella sp. (Calamondin), with 53.1% polyembryony, some of the seeds having 7 embryos, and a plant classed as a grapefruit in which 99.4% of the seeds were polyembryonie, some having up to 20 embryos.
