Preliminary observations on the feeding value of citrus and cane molasses for swine, Univ. Florida Agric. Exp. Stat., 6

Five experiments with purebred Duroc pigs in groups of 4 showed that either cane or citrus molasses can satisfactorily replace part of the maize of a fattening ration. The substitution was at 10, 20 and 40 per cent. levels of the maize. For citrus molasses the feeding value at 10 per cent. was 91 per cent., at 20 per cent., 81 per cent. and at 40 per cent., 76 per cent. of the feeding value of maize. For cane molasses the figures were 97, 70 and 74 per cent.
