The observations were made on 6 and 6 carabaos. The mean respiration rate of (27.10+or-0.177) was significantly higher than that of (24.56+or-0.404). There were no significant sex differences in mean pulse rate and body temperature; the mean for both sexes was 54.16+or-0.108per min. and 38.52+ 0.024 degrees C. resp. Season had no significant effect on any of the characters studied. G. E.
