Recommended nutrient allowances for domestic animals. 1. Recommended nutrient allowances for poultry

Recommended nutrient allowances for domestic animals. 1. Recommended nutrient allowances for poultry, National Research Council, Washington., 25: 24

This report has the same general form as the earlier edition. Descriptions are given first of the signs of vitamin and mineral deficiencies that may occur in poultry. Recommended nutrient allow ances for different constituents are then expressed as percentages of the total ration to be given to chicks and poults, according to age, and for laying and breeding hens and breeding turkeys. They are then re-calculated in terms of absolute daily requirements.
