In trials in Nebraska 40 Ib. of 2, 4-D per acre completely eradicated leafy spurge, Euphorbia esula, 20 Ib. gave over 95 % control of hoary cress, Cardaria draba, 60 Ib. resulted in more than 90% kill of tanweed, Polygonum coccineum, and a combination of 20 Ib. 2, 4-D and 20 Ib. CMU resulted in 99% control of Russian knapweed, Centaurea repens.
