In a factorial pot experiment on tomato variety Market King, 3 rates of cobalt per pot, and 2 rates of phosphate fertilizer each labelled with 3 levels of P32 were applied to the soil; analysis was in two crops. Fe deficiency symptoms were produced at both harvests in the Co-treated plants, especially at the highest Co level, but total Fe expressed as micro g. per g. dry weight was not appreciably affected.
