Studies of the physiology, morphology and selection of Taraxacum kok-saghyz Rodin

The results of further studies of the rubber-producing plant, Taraxacum kok-saghyz, are reported from the National University of La Plata, Argentina. This paper gives a full botanical description and an account of the reproductive mechanism. Reproduction becomes apomictic in the polyploid forms of this species, a fact that can be of great value in breeding projects.
