For part 4 see Abst. 2900, Vol. 25. Fifteen cows were used in an experiment lasting 13 weeks. In the preliminary and final control periods, of 3 and 4 weeks' duration, all cows received 16 lb. hay daily and a mixture of concentrates at about 4 lb. per 10 lb. milk. The mixture, in parts by weight, was of decorticated groundnut cake 3, weatings 7 and flaked maize 10.
