Abstract
The reddening of berseem leaves is very marked in those soils of Delhi State, India, which are poor in available phosphates. Experiments carried out in pots, using these soils, indicated that the application of increasing doses of superphosphate progressively reduced the reddening of leaves and increased the yield of fodder.
