The effect on the milking cow of transport by lorry as shown by the total and differential cell counts of the milk

After the transport by lorry of 9 cows to an abattoir (neither distance travelled nor time taken being given), the cell count of milk from 28 out of 30 quarters was higher than before the journey commenced: on the average the counts increased fivefold.
