The propagation of robusta coffee by cuttings

The propagation of robusta coffee by cuttings

Bull. Inf. I.N.E.A.C, 1: 205-28. bibl. 30

The results are given of a series of trials at Yangambi with robusta coffee cuttings set in ICTA propagators similar to those used for cacao but with less dense overhead shade. In the first trials terminal cuttings set in fine river sand rooted better than cuttings set in a mixture of sand, soil and coffee berry compost, but in both cases over 60% of the cuttings rotted.
