Three eases of Pasteurella pseudotuberculosis rodentium infection in pigs

Three eases of Pasteurella pseudotuberculosis rodentium infection in pigs

Norsk VetTidsskr 59: 85-90

The clinical appearances of three poorly fed pigs infected with Past. pseudotuberculosis rodentium are described. Pure cultures were obtained from the mesenteric lymph nodes. Two of the pigs had in addition pulmonary affections caused by P. suiseptica. Attempts to produce the disease in three other pigs, one of which was fed live P. pseudotuberculosis cultures, the remaining two being given intravenous injections, were unsuccessful.
