Actual evapotranspiration, potential evapotranspirafion and agricultural production.

Actual evapotranspiration, potential evapotranspirafion and agricultural production.

Ann. agron, Paris, 14: 743-824

Potential evapotranspiration (ETP) and actual evapotranspiration (ETR) are denned at the level of the leaf, plant and continuous vegetal cover, and the relationships between these and agricultural production at each level are established. Methods of energy balances on regional and leaf level are discussed and gaseous exchanges across terminal laminary layers are studied.
