12. There was no trace of penicillin in a composite sample of morning and evening milk from cows which were given tablets supplying 100, 000 or 500, 000 units of penicillin, as procaine penicillin, the previous evening.In a trial with monozygous twin cows 2 years old, one of each pair was given 200, 000 units penicillin every 3 days for 15 days or 500, 000 units every 3 days for 12 days. In another trial lasting 5 months the dose was 200, 000 units every 3 days.
