CALPOT, phosphate and silicon co-applied to the soil on soybean crop

CALPOT and metallurgy scum were applied to determine the required amount of Ca, Mg, K and to improve the P availability to soyabeans. The treatments were: (i) control; (ii) CALPOT+P+Si; (iii) CALPOT+P; (iv) CALPOT+Si; (v) Si+P; (vi) lime; (vii) CALPOT. The basic cations Ca, Mg and K were applied as CALPOT (dolomitic lime and potassium chloride) with dosages of 50% Ca, 10% Mg, and 3% K to reach the base equilibrium.
